(Al-Haaqa) 69 : 6
وَأَمَّا عَادٌ فَأُهْلِكُوا بِرِيحٍ صَرْصَرٍ عَاتِيَةٍ
And then Aad, thus they were wiped out by a strong wind blowing continuously.
Aad is the people to whom Prophet Hood was deputed. See explanation 6: 65-72; and 46: 21-25.
